I can’t remember my password?

In case if you forget your password, please use the following steps to successfully troubleshoot and do a reset.

  • Go to the Secure Login page.
  • Click on Forgot Password.
  • Enter your email address and click on the Submit button.
  • You will receive an email on the email address you entered. Click the link in the email to open the password reset page.
  • Enter the new password that you wish to use, twice, and then submit the details.
  • Your new password is now ready to use for NitroEx login.
I need to update my phone details. How can I do it?

At NitroEx, email and phone numbers are the base identities of our users. You need to input correct credits while registering.

Lost email access.

If you have lost access to your account, forgotten your email address, or think that your NitroEx account has been compromised by a cyberattack, we urge you to immediately contact the NitroEx security team and have your account temporarily disabled.

In case you no longer have access to the email address you used to create the NitroEx account, we will carry out the account recovery and reset procedure.

Why can’t I reset my password?

NitroEx takes every possible precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of our user’s trading accounts. With two-factor authentication, strong passwords, and device verification features, we safeguard account and user information from any data breach.

When someone attempts to reset their password, we make sure that it is a legitimate request. This means that a user may update their passwords from locations they have previously signed in from or from devices they have previously verified.

In such cases, please wait for 24 hours or use your previous device and IP address to reset your password.

What should I do if my account is blocked due to too many login attempts?

NitroEx security team monitors activity patterns and analyses deviations that could possibly be dangerous for our traders. We take every measure to secure NitroEx accounts from external interference, cyber attacks, phishing, or third party access.

If too many login attempts are noticed, NitroEx temporarily blocks the account to protect anyone from accessing your personal information.

In that case, please submit your request to the security team with all the details and reasons why you were not able to log in to your account.

What is Two-Factor Authentication?

2FA or two-factor authentication is a vital security feature. It boosts account security and restricts anyone else from taking advantage of your account. Even if someone manages to sneak into your password, they will simply not be able to get hold of your account.

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your NitroEx account. It is devised to ensure that you are the sole person who can access your account and perform certain activities such as withdrawing, depositing, or trading.

When enabled, 2FA requires you to feed an extra passcode to log in to your NitroEx account. The trader must enter their password and a six-digit verification code received as an OTP.

You may also remove 2FA from your account settings but NitroEx strongly recommends not to disable that as it protects you from potential attackers. 

How can I use Google Authenticator as a login type?

Google Authenticator is a mobile security application that verifies user identities before granting access to their accounts. It is based on two-factor authentication (2FA), generating a six-digit unique passcode for logging in to the NitroEx account.

If you wish to use Google Authenticator as a login type, please follow the steps below:

  • Go to My Profile.

  • Scroll down to the Login Type (2FA/SMS) category.

  • Click on the Change Login Type button.

  • You will be redirected to the Enable/Disable Google Authenticator page. 

  • If you do not have Google Authenticator, you can download the app.

  • If you are an Apple user, click on the Download from Apple Store link.

  • If you are an Android user, click on the Download from Play Store link.

  • Enable the Two-Factor Authentication button.

  • Once the download is complete on your mobile device, scan the QR code and get started with NitroEx login.

I suspect that someone logged into my account. What should I do?

If you detect any unauthorized account activity, you may notice some of these signs:

  • Receive notifications or emails which you did not request.

  • Unknown activities or unfamiliar sessions in your login details.

  • Unfamiliar crypto trades in your trading history which you did not perform.

In case if you become aware of any of the above, please follow these instructions:

  • Terminate all sessions and change your password.

  • Change your email password.

  • If you haven’t opted for 2FA, please enable it in your Account Settings.

  • Run a thorough malware and security check on your system. Please make sure that you are not using unprotected or public wifi.

I can’t reach my phone for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

There may be a few reasons and circumstances where you unexpectedly wish to disable or reset the two-factor authentication (2FA) such as losing access to your verified email address or losing your mobile phone.

If you are not receiving any messages on your mobile phone, please go through these instructions:

First, wait for a few minutes. Occasionally, it may take up to 5 minutes for receiving authenticator codes on your device. If you still don’t receive any code, check your network settings and contact your service provider to ensure that there are no issues at their end. Message delivery failure may be caused because of poor signal, provider blockage, regional restrictions, or some other network issues.If you have verified with your service provider and checked that there are no known service troubles, please contact the NitroEx support service team so that they can investigate the issue and assist you to regain access to your account and wallet.
